If you relied on the perimeter weighted, cavity back clubs to bring your swing up to snuff, and now want to start shaping shots...take a hard look at the XL design! The narrow foot allows you the awesome control and movement the pros use, without scarificing the foregiveness features. Oh, if you gave up a few yards as you got a bit older, better add them back. Each club is true to my best distance from the Hawkeyes I been using since 2003, maybe a tad longer.
As a purest, I had to order a 3 Iron (apparently people don't use those anymore?) and even though the site says this set is 3 to Wedge, it is actually 4 - W with a GAP wedge added instead of the 3.
After a week of dedicated practice and five rounds I am definately regripping these with Winn Comfort grips. Why on earth decent grips are not standard in this day and age is beyond me...

Improve your game, great clubs
I was playing with my Top Flite set, so I started having Golf classes and get more commitment with the game. My coach has advice me to get those clubs to help to improve my skills as well.
Well, beyond the weekly training, get better stuff for sure will help you out on your daily basis, and I couldn't get better clubs for the level that I found myself right now.
I'm very happy for having these Callaway Razr X Black and make my game improved so much.
Next step will be get new grips, but anyway I`m already getting new frontiers on the field.
Great Clubs, Great Price...Maple Hill Golf is the BEST!
This was a purchase for my son for CHristmas. A great deal as these clubs are in the stores for over $500. Maple Hill Golf was great with commication so we could have the clubs lengthened. Just a very positive experience...a bit chilly to use the clubs in New England...have to wait a month or so.
