Cleveland HB3 Hybrid set
I am a 65 year old 20 handicapper. I was tired of trying to play the game instead of playing. I researched several different options and decided on the Cleveland HB3 hybrids. The lofts are simular to my other clubs. I have never been a divot taker and that was a main reason for going hybrid.
I received by clubs day before yesterday. Yesterday was my first practice round with the new clubs. Improvement #1, I hit 10 of 14 fairways. I still shot a 49/44, primarily because I was having trouble figuring out my distances with the hybrids.
Today I got in 36 holes. 1st round--43/42, 11 of 14 fairways and 5 greens in reg. The 7,8,&9 played very well. Hardly any effort at all to advance the ball straight. 2nd round--38/44, 10 of 14 fairways hit and 5 greens in reg. This round also included two HB3 SW chip-ins from 20 yards, one a birdie and the other a par.
