great value-- game improvement clubs for seniors.
Picked up a set of used Senior Cobra s3 Max combo graphite for $220. Was playing ping ezs for many years. These clubs are forgiving and the graphite a shafts are a must at age 71 with replacement knee and bad back. I stopped playing 1 and a half years ago but decided to try again recently. After a couple of trips to the range I did 9 holes yesterday and had 3 pars and a couple of boogies the other 4 holes are hard to describe other than putting them off to rusty swing. If struck with a good stroke it is hard to go wrong with these much straighter and accurate then old clubs. The hybrids are easy to hit and launch high and sit--- again dead straight. These clubs have made golf fun again paricularly since moving to forward tees to compensate for physical limitations and parkinsons. More people should play from the tees that reflect their ability rather than their ego as the pga has suggessted it also speeds play. Its a game so put the egos aside have fun and enjoy a good walk...
